The Footprint Expert is incorporated in to large corporate workflows as well as individual contractors, and even students. To best accomodate all environments, we allow several different license options, perpetual and subscription.

If a Network License is to be used for two or more company locations via VPN, the "Global Network" license must be purchased.

The USB Key and SL Licenses are based on the popular license platform Gemalto (of Thales Group).

The Leased License (aka Cloud License) is based on an Email and License Key, which is used to log in to the server. The Leased License will send PCBL identifying information such as your Computer Name/ID, MAC Address, IP Address, Email, Software Product Edition/Version, and License Key. ONLY license usage is logged for the purpose of tracking and enforcing the license terms.

Multiple seats of the Leased License are available in two different ways:
      1. Multiple simultaneous seats per account (Email and License Key), for example 4 PCs for a specific Email/Key.
      2. Multiple accounts, for example 4 separate Emails and License Keys.

LICENSE RENEWAL POLICY
Leased License renewals only go forward. If license is expired at time of renewal, the leased time is renewed going forward from time of purchase. Maintenance renewal for expired USB Key and SL License maintenance begin from their expiration date. For example, if expired one year (at time license is renewed), two maintenance years must be purchased (for one that passed and one going forward). For all licenses, if the license is not expired at time of renewal, the renewal time for purchased license gets added forward from the future due date.
