So now on the downloads page we have several versions available and a POD build - so whats the difference between 2015.17 and the POD build?

I also notice that I have icons galore on my desktop, you keep changing the name of this program and it does not uninstall previous versions so I have the original from 2013, the 2014 and the 2015 version.
Shouldn't you incorporate some form of tidying up previous versions (option) as part of the install if your going to keep changing it?

The free editions have been moved below the Library Expert Pro or Library Expert Pro Eval (depending if account has a purchased license) We have three different FREE editions of the Library Expert and one that can be purchased.

FREE:  Viewer, Lite, POD
PURCHASE:  Professional

The comparison table can be found here: www.PCBLibraries.com/products/compare

For users who have the Professional, you have no need of Lite or the free versions, those are limited. Just install/use the Professional. Installing all the free ones will indeed clutter up your desktop with no benefit.

So the POD version is like a Lite+.

So what is the point of Lite then? Does Lite have anything in that POD does not?
And why? The amount of versions is starting to confuse :)

BTW - when  the Pro version is installed, if the dongle (and hence the license) is not found does it fall back to a Lite version?

Lite is for everyone who doesn't have any money to spend on anything (poor people) who have no access to POD and have to manually enter every component dimension and cannot save any dimensions or setup any global preferences.

POD Builder has every feature that LE Pro has but you still need to purchase POD credits. We thought that for all the people who could not afford LE Pro that they might be able to afford 1 credit per part and export to 21 CAD tools and export 3D STEP,

The big differentiator is that Lite is a Calculator and POD Builder cannot calculate manually entered dimensions. Or rather you cannot manually enter any component dimensions into POD Builder. All component dimensions must be downloaded from POD.
