2013.14 Released!!

Version 2013.14 was just released!!

• DFN 2-pin Crystal component family
• DFN 4-pin Crystal and Oscillator component families
• “Diode Side Concave” changed to “Side Concave Pkg” and added the Crystal and Oscillator families
• Added new Manufacturers to ManufacturerList.txt
• Eagle – When encountering a part with a space in the name, it will now be assumed that all spaces should be underlines for the ‘Edit <Name> .pac;’ filename in the script
  

FIXED / ENHANCED:

• PADS Layout – Fixed a units conversion issue with rounded rectangle corner lengths
• CADSTAR - Finger Pads with a horizontal measurement shorter than the vertical measurement are now oriented properly in the final CADSTAR output
• CADSTAR - Generated Text Codes will now have names that reflect their measurements in the name of the text code and start with the string “Text Size”
• Expedition – For custom pads which are offset from the origin, these are now based off the origin of the custom pad space. This should allow the custom pad to be placed properly to the X, Y of a pin its associated with.
• Expedition – Fixed it so that a selection in microns, inches, and mils should come in proper. For direct import purposes, it has to come in as the millimeter equivalents and simply set the units of the editor or pad viewer appropriately. For ASCII import, it’ll use the native unit callouts and the rest should handle on the backend.
• PQFN Calculator – When you relocate Pin 1 to the Lower Right the Silkscreen and Assembly Polarity Markings corrected.
• TO Cylindrical Preferences – User and Default Preferences now save as expected
• Default Preferences – Footprint Naming Convention changed to the IPC-7351C “Extended Footprint Names”
• FPX Files – Updated SM, BGA, TH and Sample
• Oscillator, Side Concave - add ability to hide & delete pads
• FP Designer – Swapped X/Y positions in the Pad Stack calculator
• FP Designer – Change FP Designer Body Dimension order and references (Length before Width)
