It would be great to be able to generate libraries from command line, for example:

FPX_2012.exe --buid --env=N --prefs=DefaultPreferences.dat --library=Maxim.fpx --translator=Altium --output-dir=/maxim

A possible use case is automatically building libraries on a post-commit svn hook. This would allow for completely automated library generation when a new version of the fpx library is committed to svn.

Thanks for your input. We talked about setting up command line function. Most likely won't happen anytime in the near future, earliest maybe 2013. Since this will present a fundamentally new way of creating libraries, if implemented, I wouldn't be surprised that IF this were to get implemented, it get configured as a separate licensed feature.

Thank you for the reply. I understand, that makes sense.

We would be very interested in this feature, even though it would be a little further down the road.

A command line option is unlikely to happen this year, the POD project is a priority.
