Hi,

Maybe I'm missing something, but when changing the bevior of certain features there should be an option to keep the old behavior.

A recent example is the silkscreen outline using the inner edge instead of the center for alignment to the component body.

There appears to be no option to keep the old behavior which results either in an inconsistent footprint library or manual rework for every part from now on.

Please consider adding options for ensuring backward compatibility when changing the behavior of features.

Regards,
SDTKO

Changing the Silkscreen Outline to use the outline Edge or outline Centerline is now an option in:

"Tools > Drafting > Silkscreen > All Density Levels > Offset Outline Away From Body"

The default setting is On, but you can turn off that feature.
