Hi, I don't know if I get this wrong, but should not all settings made in the options in Footprint Expert POD program be saved to the .opt file?

I did a quick test in FE for POD 2021.20 where I first without doing any changes to the Options saved current settings to file "1.opt" .
I then changed the setting for "Footprint Naming Convention" from "PCB Libraries" to "IPC-7351B" and saved this to another file, called "2.opt file".  Reloading file "1.opt" did not set back the naming convention to "PCB Libraries".

Was this an expected result??

There are 2 Option files.
  1. Console Options
  2. Your Master Options
The Footprint Naming Convention is in "Console" Options and not in your Master Options.

You can have many Master Option files but only one Console Option file.
