Every STEP I output in the SOIC family has the pin 1 marker missing from the model.

The 1.27 mm (50 mil) pin pitch SOIC has a Body Chamfer all along the Pin 1 Side.

It's one of the ways to differentiate between mil pitch and metric pitch SO's.
