Hello,

With 2020 version, when I want to have a SOT23-6P65 footprint with these values :

I get this padstasck :

In 2021.04, with the same values, I get this message : "Pads were trimmed to clear the body."
and pads are like this :

Please could you explain to me what is the difference ? what is the new calculation and why ?
What means""Pads were trimmed to clear the body."?

datasheet link : https://www.mouser.fr/datasheet/2/308/NST45010MW6_D-1813786.pdf

Thank you in advance

In V2021.04 pads are being trimmed for Gull wing lead parts when the A1 package stand-off is less than 0.03.

You can change this in Tools > Options > Pad Stack Rules > SMD Minimum Trim and Spacings > Minimum Trim Stand-off Height. > 0.03

Change to 0.00 if you want to leave the pads under a package that has no standoff.
