Hi,
Circuit Studio by default has 2 top assemble layers
  • Assembly Text Top – the component name
  • Assembly Top – outline of the component
When I use Library Expert Enterprise Edition (2020.03) I use the default with the following changes.

  • Translator = “Altium Circuit Studio”
  • PADS Version = 9.3
  • 3D Model = tick

This generates a <name>.d & <name>.p

I then import <name>.d in to Circuit studio, but I have the following problems

  • I cant find a way to add my string “.Designator” to the .fxd part so it appears on any of the Assembly layers. This resolves to the to component Designator to help with placement.
  • The 3D step file isn’t attached to the component.
  • The “Top Solder” layer seems to contain the courtyard and some extra larges pads.

I've included the <name>.fpx file  https://www.pcblibraries.com/forum/uploads/15524/fpx.zip" rel="nofollow - uploads/15524/fpx.zip
and the PcbLib which was the imported from the <name.d>  uploads/15524/New_Parts.zip" rel="nofollow - uploads/15524/New_Parts.zip

cheers
Chris
