Hi Tom,

I'd like to report that the 3D Step model is not generated by selecting SMD Molded Body Capacitor Polarized.

thank you in advance!

I can't reproduce this. I'm using Library Expert V2020.03.

Wow, I just noticed this issue with the CAPPM footprints.
I have all our Molded footprints in a separate library.
I thought the library was corrupt, but all other families of molded output the STEP file.
I guess I hadn't had the need for a new molded cap footprint in over a year.

So you're not the only one.
I guess we will have to update to the latest version as there is no other 2020 update.

Thanks,

Alan

The Molded Body component family uses the JEDEC DO-214 as the main model.

Note: the "D" dimension MUST be at least 0.80 mm larger than the "D1" dimension or the 3D STEP model will be corrupt.

The Terminal Lead thickness is 0.20 mm on both sides, and it needs 0.20 mm lead bend radius.

If you still have a problem, you will have to upgrade to V2022.02 pre-release (is the latest version right now). Or the last release V2022.01.
