From using the IPC calculator, it seems clear that they licensed a version of Library Expert from you.
I just tried using the latest PCB LE Lite 2017.06 from your webpage, and comparing it to 2016.08 from IPC.

Using a 1005 (EIA 0402) chip, capacitor and putting in the component dimensions the same in the two versions, gets two results.

Do you know if the IPC version will get updated?  I ask, since internally I can justify the IPC calculator (i.e. came from IPC) vs. PCB libraries, as being a private company.  And yes, its clear that its the same product, however, upper management is rather conservative.

V2017 uses the IPC-7351C proposed solder joint goals.

V2016 uses the IPC-7351B solder joint goals.

You can compare them in the Excel spreadsheets located in this folder -
C:\Program Files (x86)\PCB Libraries\Library Expert 2017\Documents
  • IPC-7351C (Proposed) Solder Joint Goal Tables v1.4
  • IPC-7351B Solder Joint Goal Tables v1.4
However, using V2017 you can reset the solder joint goals back to IPC-7351B by opening the Preference file -
IPC-7351B_DefaultPreferences.dat

However, if you are using Library Expert Lite you can't adjust the Preferences. Only LE Pro users can do that.
