This is closely related to my issues with ContainerNotFound from license server but I think it makes a valid point in general.

I find it incredibly annoying that the tool will launch a browser and load the PCB Library website if it fails to get a license on launch or if I click the wrong button (FP Designer, Library Editor) . At best there should be a link in the error message or just let the user use the help button. I would also like to see the buttons greyed out or otherwise disabled when the feature is not available.

Sorry for the bit of a rant, having a rough day with licensing errors....

If the license cannot be found, the Library Expert Pro functions as a Viewer. The viewer shows details about features that are not licensed, whether it is a browser or a window that is built into the program, a message would have to come up saying the feature(s) cannot run as a license cannot be used.
