Hi,
I deliberately forced the "L" of a SOIC beyond the measures allowed. I would have expected at least a message of "Warning" !!

Also, what would the generator 3D_STEP if the terminals are no longer consistent with Gull Wing or Outward L Lead ??

Of this I'm not happy, I think the program in parts "standard" should not allow this.

LP Wizard would have given the following message:
"Land is being trimmed for lands That extend under the body" and would automatically cut the land under the body of the component!

you can solve this problem?

Library Expert has way more features than LP Wizard but everything is User Definable in Preferences. You decide what the minimum A1 value is for your assembly process.

If you want this: "Pad is being trimmed for pads that extend under the component body" and would automatically cut the land under the body of the component!

In your Default or User Preferences "Rules > Minimum Trim Standoff Height" enter an A1 value where you want the pads to be trimmed.

If you enter 0.15 mm, then when A1 value is less than 0.15 mm all pads will be trimmed under the component.
