I noticed that the 3D drawing (STEP File) is a bit different from the supplier package drawing and general drawing found on PCB liberary .

The general image of PCB liberary:

The image of the supplier:

These above two images are nearly similar, but they are different from the 3D image (STEP file) that result from PCB liberary :  uploads/10937/oscsc254p500x320x130-4_eck_n.zip" rel="nofollow - uploads/10937/oscsc254p500x320x130-4_eck_n.zip :

Please advise.

Thanks alot

All concave lead forms are complex to draw in 3D STEP and the file size quadruples when we add them. Also, there are many varieties of concave leads and the component manufacturer's do not provide dimensional data on how deep the concave radius is.

We replaced the concave lead graphic image with a simple wrap-around lead which is a suitable replacement for automating this lead form. However, we can do anything in SolidWorks and soon you can "Request a Part" and ask for the exact 3D STEP model for any package.

Also, the Side Concave for 2, 4 pin Packages was intended for small diodes, LED's and crystals.
