Our footprint naming convention for non-standard parts is  MANUFACTURER_PartNumber

This would be the perfect footprint for FP Designer.

If you posted the web-link to the mfr. datasheet I will build the footprint and put it on http://www.pcblibraries.com/pod" rel="nofollow - www.pcblibraries.com/pod to share with the global electronics industry. This library part should only be built once by someone and never built again.

Our motto is "Build it once, build it right and never build it again". Stop global duplication of effort and let PCB Libraries build your library parts for you.

The footprint name for this part is: MfrName_MfrPartNumber because it's a unique pattern.

I will introduce this subject at the IPC-7351 standards meeting at IPC headquarters in July so that the next release IPC-7351C will have guidelines for non-standard package footprint names.

Thanks for sharing this.

One more thing I'd like to add - the Manufacturer Names we use are located in the latest ManufacturerList.txt file that is included with each build of the Library Expert. We're looking at options to allow users to edit this file (or perhaps a secondary user-defined file) that doesn't get overwritten with new LE versions/updates.
