Can you please explain what:

  1. Run Scripts in background Does?
  2. Set as Default Format?
  3. Auto-Confirm Loss of accuracy?

Thanks!

It turns off the Allegro UI while the scripts are in progress.

You select this and click 'Save Entries as Preferences'. Thereafter, when you hit the build button, that will be the translator the tool opens.

In the script, there is a point where the accuracy is changed in pad_designer. When this happens, some builds/versions of Allegro/OrCAD PCB will pop a confirmation box(most of them) and some won't(rarely). If it does pop, for a script to automatically bypass this, a 'fillin yes' is required. Selecting this box adds that 'fillin yes', while deselecting it removes it. Its weird, I know, but that's Allegro/OrCAD PCB for you. There was no way for me to predict which it would be, so this covers both build types. Once you get it set, and if your scripts are running its set properly, save it as a preference and you never have to worry about it again.
