LE Lite V2015 vs: Library Expert IPC V2015

   What are the differences between the Library Expert Lite 2015 that is downloadable from this site and the Library Expert IPC 2015 that is downloadable from ipc.org?

A quick perusal of the menus reveals that the Lite version lists a greater variety of part types than the IPC version, and the "Library Editor" and "Preferences" buttons do what they say in the IPC version, but redirect to the PCB Libraries web site in the Lite version.

What other differences are there? Why might someone use one vs. the other?

	In February, IPC will start offering the IPC-7351 Land Pattern Calculator when the new Library Expert Pro V2016.01 is released. Right now, IPC has an older version. V2015.21 Lite will be released this week and will be the final version for the 2015 product line.
