Is there any way to create an arbitrary pad shape for use in a pad stack?

I have a connector where the manufacturer recommended pads in the corners are "L" shaped. It's not a public part so unfortunately cannot share the datasheet.

I could realize this by splitting it into two rectangular pads, but thought I'd ask if there was any other option to natively generate a single pad.

Footprint Expert cannot do irregular shaped pads, but we build those footprints in a CAD tool and import the ASCII data into FPX file.

What manufacturer and part number are you looking for?

Maybe the Case Code in already in the POD database.

Appreciate the feedback and good to know that it's an option!
It's a unreleased, not yet publicly available part so I don't think it would be in the POD database. And unfortunately can't share drawings for it either.

I may just manually create it for now.

The best option is to build the basic pattern in Footprint Expert and then move it to your CAD tool to add the custom pad stacks.

Footprint Expert will auto-generate all the drafting outlines and create the standard pad stacks.
