Hi,
I'm very new to IPC Class 3 design. Are there any informations on IPC Class 3 component footprint creations? What are the standards requirements to follow? Has anyone ever done IPC Class 3 layout design? |

Class 3 for PCB design is clearly defined in the IPC-2221 and IPC-2222 standards. I think you get them both when you purchase.
Plus the IPC-7351B also goes into the Classes for PCB library creation. I recommend these standards for all PCB designers. |

Just an addition to Tom's answer, if you need to buy a bunch of standards from IPC you might as well get the Printed Board Design Standards Collection C-106. Overall cheaper.
Alles Gute, Konrad
