Using the surface mount tool, how do I change the default SO pin numbering from top down left and bottom up right to alternating top down left-right, left-right?

1  8    -> 1  2
2  7 3  4
3  6 5  6
4  5  7  8

It looks mirrored to me.

Did you try to select the "Mirror" icon in the toolbar?

Just one click and you're ready to roll.

Please attach a web-link to the component package datasheet.

Thanks!

That does not produce the desired pin sequence shown above.
It is not just mirrored.  It's 'rolfed.'

This is a datasheet for 4-pin Gull Wing Tactile Switches. Not 8-pin SOL package.

There is no IPC Calculator for Tactile Switches.

We created FP Designer to make these footprints and you have 100% control of the pin assignments.
