I create my decals/parts in PADS Layout using generic name for the decal and the manufacturer name - manufacturer part nubmer for the part number. Is there a way in the library to create a different part name then the decal name? I want to be able to do this in batch mode.

This is available 1 part at a time but not available in Batch Mode yet.
The main reason is that it would require a new attribute column in the FPX file that would be unique to PADS users. This feature is coming in V2013 in February. |
