Silkscreen Partnumber or Assembly Partnumber

   If I create a Cell for Mentor Graphics Xpedition I get 3 text strings: 
Silkscreen Refdes, Assembly Refdes and Silkscreen Partnumber

Is there a reason why "Silkscreen" Partnumber is chosen instead of "Assembly" Partnumber?

I.M.O. - a Partnumber is linked to Assembly instead of Silkscreen.
