   Why this function has been considered obsolete?

I sometimes used it to convert dimensions provided by the manufacturer of an element to the dimensioning system used by Footprint Expert.
It was a convenient tool - now I will have to use another calculator.

If it's not too much trouble, it would be nice to have this feature back.
