Is there / do you plan built in support for parts like http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/csd25404q3 ?

You can easily build this part in Library Expert. maybe 5 minutes. 

Start in the SON w/Tab Calculator and enter all package dimensions and select OK. 

Then select the Footprint Tab and enter the mfr. recommended pad sizes. 

Change the Pad Shape to Rectangle in the Settings tab. 

Save the Calculator part to your FPX file. 

Move the part to FP Designer to edit the Thermal Pad location and pad stack in the pad stack manager. 

When finished, select the Finish tab and fill in the data and save to FPX. 

You can overwrite the Calculator part or use the Calculator part for the 3D STEP model. 

Or, you can go to POD and search for Texas Instruments Case Code - DQG and download it for free.
