I am trying to use the LE Pro to create a footprint for a part using an WLCSP-64 package.
This has alternating columns of pins offset/staggered. What do I need to create this footprint and STEP model with the LE Pro? https://i.imgur.com/UwhkqDG.png |

You can easily build this part in FP Designer in less than 3 minutes, once you know how to do it.
Watch this video on how to build staggered pin parts - The 3D STEP model will be a simple extruded block that will match your package dimensions and Polarity Marking selection. |

Thanks. Although that works it is quicker/easier to create the footprint with my own workflow in my CAD package than using the FP designer. I was trying to use the "Create new Surface Mount" tool to get an IPC7351 compliant footprint and reasonable STEP model. It does everything needed except the ability to set any offset for staggered rows/columns.

V2019 Library Expert will have a staggered row BGA component family that will be IPC compliant and produce a High-quality 3D STEP model.
V2019 will be available in Beta this March. |

Thanks. Good to know this capability will be added in the new version. Keep up the great work. Library Expert is a nice tool and covers most part needs.
