Is there any solution for this issue? I know that I have seen Donuts in Allegro (though I am not sure how they were made).

If there is a way, I have yet to find it. I've even tried building it from a cut polygon as a complex pad shape and the way Allegro builds their polygons precludes it. If you find a way, let me know.. i'd be happy to add the functionality if it exists.

I have a board with such a pad so I will see if I can extract it and send it to you, or at least work out how our layout house did it.

Cheers! Dave.

It looks like it is not handled at the pad level, rather in the Symbol Drawing, where there is a void created in the middle of the larger circular pad.

I have emailed the files that were used to create the final symbol for clarification.

Cheers! Dave.
