Hi,
For OrCAD Editor: when running the .bat file to create a new PCB footprint, the incorrect OrCAD Editor version is being brought up and hangs (need to have 17.2 come up; 17.4 is coming up instead. I have both installed on PC). I have been only using 17.2 in the past and everything has worked well! I recently added 17.4. In the troubleshooting using the helpful "Allegro-OrCAD PCB Import Instructions.PDF" suggestions, it is mentioned : "2. Are There Multiple Versions of Allegro Installed? a. Is the PATH pointing to the correct version?" Where can I check this 'path' info? I looked over my PC's "environmental variable" settings but could not find a PCB Editor path setting? Thanks, Danny |

Look on the last three pages of the PDF Tom posted.
That's where the path variable instructions are. You'll need to restart your computer afterward. |
