Would it be possible to have a user preference for the user to select the .stp file extension for STEP files rather than .STEP?
I have found some tools that, for some reason or another, don't see .STEP files until they have been renamed to .stp |

Library Expert V2016.11 pre-release has been updated with this new feature - www.pcblibraries.com/downloads Here is how it works - · 3D STEP: o 3D Model output now has a checkbox option ‘Use .STEP’. If this box is checked, you will get .STEP extensions for 3D model files. If it is not checked, you will get a .STP extension. The default is on but can be set using the "Save Entries As Preferences". |
