Batch Build Through-hole component data should be fixed in the V2012.26 released 10/21/12.
 
We're in the middle of adding Through-hole component families and it's causing some side issue problems. Vertical and Right Angle Headers and PGA's will be released this week 10/28/12.
 
If it's not fixed, please let us know ASAP.

When batch creating the footprints for PADS Layout if any through hole part is selected the error " Part Type create error" pops up. No footprints or part types are saved when this happens. Can deselect the through hole parts and the batch creation works fine. Can generate the footprint and part type of through hole components when using the build current footprint option.

One other thing is when editing the user preferences for through hole parts the option "Hole on Assembly" does change even when something other than the default "Outline" is selected. If you hit apply once you change the setting it does not actually save it.
