Dear FPX developers,

I will be using a Taiyo Yuden SMT power inductor on my board. The closest I could get from FPX v2012.18 is the "DFN 2 Pin" package family generator.

The catalog of these Taiyo Yuden inductors are found here:
http://www.yuden.co.jp/productdata/catalog/en/wound04_e.pdf" rel="nofollow - http://www.yuden.co.jp/productdata/catalog/en/wound04_e.pdf

Is the DFN 2 Pin the best generator for these parts?
Do you think this needs another generator?

What term should I actually use for these "package family generators"?

Best regards,
Maarten Verhage

I would use the "CHIP" component family "Inductors" and then I would select the "Footprint" tab and enter the Taiyo Yuden SMT power inductor recommended pattern dimensions.
