Origin elements generally include a Crosshair and a Target (Circle).

The elements scale themselves to the part size within user definitions, in combination with hard-coded minimum and maximum limits.  Origin controls may be found in the Drafting Options to include origin elements consist of Crosshair, Target, both or neither.

The length of the crosshair lines are limited to a minimum of the smaller of, one half the minimum of the courtyard length or width and not to exceed the Crosshair Size option.  The displayed line length will be the specified line length plus the line width.

The target is scaled to maintain a constant size relative to the crosshair and not exceed the Target Diameter size option.  The displayed target outside diameter will be the specified size plus the line width.

The limits are to ensure the origin always remains inside the footprint extents without becoming excessively large or small.
