I have noticed that as screen shows Footprint Name uses the D1 dimension instead of D.

Please can add more details, also how is the Physical Description generated?

Footprint Name: QFP50P1600X1600X120-100

Physical Description:
Quad Flat Pack (QFP), 0.50 mm pitch; 100 pin, square, 25 pin X 25 pin, 14.00 mm L X 14.00 mm W X 1.20 mm H body

The footprint name describes the outer dimensions of the package.

The 16.00 mm = the Lead Span per the IPC-7351 Naming Convention Guidelines.

The 14.00 mm = the Physical Description of the Package Body (doesn't include the terminal leads, just the package body dimensions).
