Hello.

I'm in the process of building a 0603 chip resistor with Footprint Expert v2021.21 .
Could you please advise which one of L or L1 dimension is the one on the solder side? From the datasheets I'm studying, they give both but the names are different (a & b or T1 and T2). I've searched the documentation but found nothing relevant.

Thanks.
Justin

L1 is in case the manufacturer makes pin 2 a different size.

Doesn't make too much sense on why they would do that, but some do make L and L1 different values.

We just cover all the bases.

So this is not related to the top vs. bottom dimensions difference.
Understood, thanks!
