Hello,

With the discontinuation of Allegro and Orcad in the Pro version, we are considering purchasing an Enterprise subscription.

We have licenses for both Orcad PCB Designer and Allegro, and the Package Symbols are compatible between the two.  Is there any reason for us to pay for the Allegro License (599) instead of the Orcad License (299)?  Is there something missing from the Orcad version?

Thanks,
Ben

If you have both OrCAD and Allegro, just get the OrCAD PCB export and create all the .dra files in that CAD tool.

Then move them over to Allegro.

The big difference in the export is the text in the .bat has the CAD tool name.
