I was looking in Free Parts for a FCI part number.

But, FCI no longer shows up on the list.

If someone doesn't know that they are now Amphenol they are out of luck.

Any way to cross reference things like this?

Might also be other similar instances.

FCI is now Amphenol ICC

There are similar instances. Linear Technology is now Analog Devices.

When you search for Linear it brings you to Analog.

Understood - but Linear still shows up on the list.  FCI does not.

We'll fix that next week after we release V2020 Library Expert on Sunday afternoon. FCI will be added back to POD before everything gets upgraded to V2021 format coming September 1.

V2020 is the last release of that generation of software and it will only be available for 30 days during the month of August.

The new V2021 will be released September 1 but you can run both, however, if you want access to the new PCBPOD.com website, you need to be running V2021 as the FPX file format is radically changing to include schematic symbols and custom 3D STEP models and much more information.

POD was updated so FCI redirects to ICC, just like Linear redirects to Analog.
