I try to create the footprint for https://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/TIP50-D.pdf" rel="nofollow - https://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/TIP50-D.pdf The datasheet doesn't content any recommendation. If i create it in calculator than the pads cover each other partially. I want to redraw the pad dimension manually. Is there any general recommendations to create the elongate pad?

Then you make the "D" and "D1" dimensions different. You must bend the leads.
