1) Request addition of L-Lead option for 2-pin diodes/caps/resistors
  2) What footprint type would be the best for now; Molded Body or SODFL (and change name to SODL)?        Both from the footprint size and from a 3D model

Your DIODES datasheet is a Molded Body package. 

SODFL was changed to SOFL last year.
