Hi there,

It seems that in recent updates to the Library Expert the Pin 1 "dot" has been re-introduced to the overlay/silkscreen despite there already being a longer indicating "line". This dot also appears to be outside the courtyard boundary.
Is the dot still necessary, or is it mainly a desirable feature?

The Dot was introduced back into the program due to popular customer requests.

We know that the Dot is outside the courtyard, that's what the customers asked for.

You can turn off the Dot in User Preferences > Drafting Tab > Silkscreen Pin 1 Dot Size > change the value to 0 and that will turn it off.
