R-PDSO-G8
I am trying to make a package of the SMD IC LM2903 TI. I am using the data sheet “D (R-PDSO-G8) (would give page number, but TI didn’t number them) My template in Library Expert is “Small outline pkg (SOIC, SOP)”. I am using this one because It looked close to the PDSO. However, I get the dreaded “Line 59 error” in Eagle upon attempt to transport by script. The error reported by Eagle is “Invalid SMD size 19.8882 7.1628 invalid range is 0…13.107mm”

There is already a Texas Instruments "D (R-PDSO-G8)" in the SM FPX file. There are over 800 different Texas Instruments footprints in that library. yes, You are correct!  My project deadline is coming close, and in a rush I only looked in the "TH" library for one. Lesson learned.  I look forward to the time when I can explore all that PCB can do. Thanks for the reply and lesson. David |
