There are 2 types of Molded Body packages.

One follows the JEDEC DO-214D standard package where the "D" dimension is at least 0.80 mm larger than the "D1" dimension.

The other Molded Body part where the Terminal Lead hugs the package and "D" and "D1" dimensions are less than 0.80 mm is a non-standard package and is not approved by JEDEC.

We will address this issue in the upcoming V2020 release to allow the user an option to pick the type of package body that results in 2 types of Molded Body parts.

However, if your "D" dimension is 0.80 mm larger than your "D1" dimension and you're still having problems, then send us the datasheet PDF or the URL link or post the mfr. name and part number here.

Tom,

The explanation solved the problem.

The AVX is not define the D1 dimension, so I made D1 = D.

Changing D1 to equal D-.8 mm I am able to import the STEP file.

Thanks,
-Jeff
