This is because the calculation for the terminal leads is too tight.
The difference between the He and E dimensions is only 1 mm or 0.5 mm on each side. The L dimension is 0.5. If you include the nominal c dimension 0f 0.15 for the metal thickness and the bend radius of the terminal lead, there's not enough room to calculate a proper terminal lead. This Nexperia package is unique. A normal SOP the difference between He and E is greater than 1.5 mm and the terminal leads will come out proper. |
