Hi,

I purchased and using PCB Library Expert pro 2016 with Altium Designer.

If I create a new component, with the information I entered (Length, height, width...) in the settings, the 3D will be generated correct?

I could not find any 3D body in the Mechanical Layer 13 (Mechanical Layer 13 assigned for 3D Model in Altium).

Do I need to import 3D model? If I don't import 3D model, PCB Library Expert Pro 2016 will generate based on the information provided?

Regards,
Rafiq

In the Library Expert translator dialog window, there is a check box for 3D STEP. Did you check it?

The folder name for the script file should be the same folder for the 3D STEP file.

Look in that folder to see if there is a STEP file in there.

Also, the Vertical Axis in the Translator window should be set to "Z axis".

You can also get V2018.08 Library Expert Pro for free. It will install into a separate folder so you can use both V2016 and V2018.
