Hello all,

I tried in 2018.04 and 2018.05 a SMD Diode with Molded Body. But it shows no polarization.
There is no difference between "Diode" and"Diode - Non polarized", also with capacitor and inductor.

Best Regards
Olaf

It works for me in V2018.05

Check the following Preferences and adjust to suit.

1. Drafting>Assembly: 'Include Polarity Indicators'
2. Drafting>Legend: 'Autogenerate Pin 1 Indicator Line'
3. Rules: 'Cathode/Anode Pin Names'

The big difference between Polarized & Non-polarized Molded Body Diodes is the 3D STEP model.

The Legend & Assembly auto-polarity markings can be set in Preferences > Drafting > Legend & Assembly > Polarity

However, it's vastly superior if you add your own unique Legend and Assembly polarity marker using the Drafting Outline icon in the Calculator toolbar and then save that data to FPX.
