There are less than 10 SOT89 and TO-92 packages in the world today.

Why spend any time creating a IPC Calculator for 10 packages?

Just build them manually using the mfr. recommendations and be done with it.

However, there are SOT89 and TO-92 packages on POD. Just search NXP mfr. and Case Code SOT-89.

Search Texas Instruments Case Code TO-92.

The TO-247 you can build in the PTH Through-hole "Flange Mount" component family. Already there.

The TO-251 is the SMD TO (DPAK) component family. Already there.

  • TO-92 and SOT-89 are widely used as package for the transistor and Linear Regulator there are more than 130 mfr. used this packages for example(Torex Semiconductor , Fairchild Semiconductor , RICOH Semiconductor , Seiko Instruments Semiconductor , Richtek Technology Corporation , ON Semiconductor , Micro Commercial Components , Microchip Technology , Renesas Electronics , Toshiba , New Japan Radio , Diodes Incorporated , Vishay , Central Semiconductor , Infineon Technologies AG , Exar , Maxim Integrated , Allegro MicroSystems , Linear Technology , etc) we have more than 60,000 components,and we can't build 3D Model for these parts.
  • I agree with you for TO-247 we can build footprint in the PTH Through-hole "Flange Mount" component family. but we need build 3D-Model
  • PCB Library isn't support TO-251 i think you have conflict between TO-251(IPAK) and TO-252(DPAK) ,TO-251 is the Through Hole package not Surface Mount.

  •  What about TO-126? also we need build 3D-Model for this package.

Library Expert already supports to TO (DPAK) Footprint and 3D Model in the Surface Mount component families. It's the last family in the list.

There are SOT89 and TO-92 parts on Part on Demand (POD) website.

Search for Diodes, Inc. or NXP Case Code SOT89

Search for DIGITRON Case Code TO-92

PCB Libraries, Inc. will create any SOT89 or TO-92 Footprint and 3D model to order. You order it on www.pcblibraries.com/downloads and we'll build it and make it available to the entire electronics industry. It's faster to manually create these parts than it is the create a unique calculator.

We added TO-92 component family in V2015.19.

SOT-89 is the only package you mention that Library Expert does not support yet.
