From component dimensions to 3D STEP.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>I will discuss this with the CAD tool interface and 3D STEP programmer to see if he can get this feature in V2019 which has been under development for over a year now. It will soon be released in Beta as Symbol Expert and then grow into the new Library Expert.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>However, this is a short term feature because we plan to have 50 million part numbers on POD that will yield a 90% match with the new POD BOM search feature that we're adding to V2018 soon. And if this is the case, adding new features for footprint creation will become useless in the future.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]>
