The FPX file does not save Toe/Heel/Side values.

All solder joint values are stored in Preferences and you can have multiple Preference files.

No, it is not working, and I am using the 2017.04. I just tested it again.
I modified the toe/heel/side values, added the part to my current fpx and saved the fpx. I restarted the PCB Libraries, reopened the footprint, and the changes are gone.

There are several versions of Library Expert.

Pro saves all preferences and Lite does not have Preferences or FPX files.

The LE Pro FPX file only saves the Component Dimensions and/or Mfr. Recommended Pattern data.

Everything else is saved in your personal preference file, unless you are using LE Lite, there are no user preference files.

What version of Library Expert are you using?

For some specificcomponents I have to manually modify values for Toe/Heel/Side under the DensityLevel tab. Then I save the footprint to my FPX. If later I open that footprint forverification or comparison, these value are set back to the default.

 

What should be or can be done in order to save the part with the custom values?
