I tried to create a Molded Body Diode (0402) and got an error saying
-
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" with a bunch of figures upside down L's the & landpatterndate.
I used the template for Molded Body to start.
I have no idea what I did wrong

The only one i seem to be having trouble with is the 'Chip' calculator. Thats been fixed by Jeff for the new version.
So you're saying when you click on the 'Molded Body' Calculator it gives you the garbage box?
Also, which tool are you trying to output to?

Can you post a URL web-link to the Molded Body component package datasheet?
That will help us reproduce your problem. |

Chris,
It is before I out put to a tool, but the tool is Orcad or allegro. I get the garbage box clicking ok, after putting in all of the data. I did a screen shot but have no idea how to get it to you. It is a word document.
Thanks
Tom,
This is the link to the data sheet. http://www.comchiptech.com/cms/UserFiles/CDBQR40-RevB792460.pdf
