Hello,

Why i can't generate footprint with tolerance not equal plus and minus and when i add values as example below it change automatically
As example  D = 1 - 0.1 +0.2 ? to be  1.05 +/- 0.15

Also How can i generate footprint for package SOT-89 it found in reference but i can't found in tool

When you have different +/- tolerances, enter the Min/Max data instead of Nominal + Tolerance.

When you enter the Min/Max data, a new Nominal dimension will be auto generated.

The Nominal = the value between the Minimum and Maximum.

This will also affect the Footprint Name, which uses the Nominal dimensions.

SOT-89 has an irregular shape pin 2 and it's a different shape and size for every mfr.

Library Expert cannot auto-generate irregular pad shapes yet as this requires associated copper poly shapes.

We manually create SOT-89 and upload them to POD.

Check the mfr.'s Diodes and NXP for the Case Code SOT89 or SOT-89 and download those parts.

If you have a new SOT-89, we'll be glad to build it for $5 and share it with everyone else for free download.
