When I use batch mode on my current library it adds an additional character to my decal/part name in pads.

Is there a way to suppress the addition of this character ?

The only way to do that for now is to change to the user environment and fab level suffix preference to be blank.
A switch will be added in the next release to turn it off.
Good suggestion.  Thanks.

You need to clear "Setup->User Preferences->Design->*User name suffix". Clearing the "*User name suffix" in the "Batch-Build Preferences" dialog box does not appear to do anything. See http://www.pcblibraries.com/forum/batchbuild-preferences_topic981.html
