I am a first time user and need to know where to setup Allegro output. Advise?

Select any component family and enter the component dimensions.

 
Then select the last icon in the toolbar (the Wrench).
 
That will open the CAD Translator window.
 
Use the CAD tool dropdown and select Allegro.
 
Also select "Set as Default Format"
 
Then select the folder in which you want to save the PCB library files.
 
Then select your Allegro options.
 
Then select "Save Entries as Preferences" so that every time you come back to this window all of your settings will be the same.
